Gareth Bale was among the scorers in Rome as Real Madrid came away from the Olimpico with a 2-0 win over the Giallorossi in their Game Week 5 clash. Bale scored shortly after the interval, with his 47th minute strike putting Los Blancos ahead before Lucas Vazquez sealed victory just before the hour mark.

The goal against Roma was Bale’s third of the competition, having previously scored at home against the Giallorossi and the MD4 5-0 away in Czech Republic against Viktoria Plzen.

Bale started in the Italian capital and played 84 minutes before being replaced by Asensio. A crowd of 59124 were present at the Olimpico- Roma’s first for a CL clash this season.
