Real Madrid have been drawn against Numancia in the Round of 16 of the Spanish Kings Cup. Los Blancos will face the Spanish second division team after beating Fuenbralada 4-2 on aggregate in the previous round. The second leg of the Cup tie against Fuenbralada was the one in which Gareth Bale made his return for Real, creating both goals for the home side. Numancia beat Malaga 3-2 on aggregate in the Round of 32.

The first leg will be played at Estadio Los Pajaritos, with the second at the Bernabeu.
