Real Madrid 0-1 Real Betis | Bale plays 90, but Zidane’s men stunned

Former Barcelona youngster Antonio Sanabria scored deep into second half stoppage time as Real Betis picked up their first win over Real Madrid in nearly two decades. Sanabria’s 94th minute strike saw Betis beat Los Blancos for the first time since 1998.

Real had both Bale and Cristiano Ronaldo starting, but the latter, making his first start of the season, was in particular wasteful, with Real unable to even convert one of their 27 efforts on goal into something productive.

Real Sociedad 1-3 Real Madrid | Bale scores stunner

Gareth Bale scores a great individual goal as Real Madrid end Real Sociedad’s 100% start to the new league season with a 3-1 win at the Anoeta. Bale’s glorious goal was Real’s third of the game and came on 61 minutes. The Welsh star played the full 90 in front of the 24,675 fans at the Anoeta.

Real Madrid 3-0 APOEL- Bale stars with two assists

Gareth Bale provided two assists as Real Madrid beat APOEL Nicosia 3-0 at the Bernabeu in midweek. Bale, who had a disappointing game against Levante over the weekend, set up two goals, and it was his cross that lead to Real being awarded a penalty- effectively meaning that the Welsh superstar had a hand in all three goals.
