Wales 0-1 Uruguay | Giggs suffers first defeat

Ryan Giggs suffered his first defeat as Welsh manager as Uruguay beat them 1-0 to win the China Cup in China. The Uruguayans were good value for their win and secured the Cup thanks to Edinson Cavani’s second half strike.

The only previous meeting between Wales and Uruguay was back in 1986 and ended in a goalless draw.
