Gareth Bale wins FAW Wales Player of the Year award for 2015

Gareth Bale has been named Welsh Player of the year for 2015 in a glittering awards ceremony held last night in Cardiff. This is Bale’s 5th FAW Player of the Year, following similar triumphs in 2010, 2011, 2013 and 2014. His 2015 triumph means he has won the award in five of the last six years, with the only exception being 2012, when it went to Joe Allen, who had a stellar season with Swansea and Team GB

Bale has been in splendid form internationally for Wales despite his struggles for Real, and the national side are on the verge of qualifying for their first finals since 1958.

Bale also won the Fans’ Player of the Year and Players Player of the Year awards to go with his FAW Player of the Year Award.
